MMA fighter Ronda Rousey appears nude for ESPN's Body Issue (VIDEO)
In a sport where 'girly-girls' aren't exactly prevalent, MMA fighter Ronda Rousey makes it known, she's the baddest girl on the block.
Maybe that's what makes her recent photo shoot for ESPN the Magazine's 'Body Issue' that more amazing. In a world dominated by tough girls, Rousey is the toughest in the room. For as quick as Ronda Rousey is to flash you her trademark smile, she's just as likely to snap your arm in half for throwing her a bad pick-up line.
Fellas, beware.
The Olympic medalist turned her background in Judo into a lucrative career in mixed martial arts in early 2011. The 'Judo' Gene Lebell product took the MMA world by storm, racking up an undefeated 5-0 record in route to becoming the Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion in a brutal Armbar Submission of top-ranked Meisha Tate in March of this year.

Since her break out submission victory over Tate—pun intended—Rousey has developed a cult-like following amongst MMA fans. With her golden smile and devilish, no-nonsense personality, Rousey has become the face of Women's MMA entering the new decade--that place was previously reserved for fighter-turned-actor, Gina Carano, star of last year's 'Hawywire.'
What Carano lacked in overall completeness as a mixed martial artist, Rousey makes up for in spades. Rousey is more than adequate in the striking department, as she showed against Tate, but her real talent comes on the ground, and more specifically, her submission game.

It comes as no surprise that an Olympic Judoka would have a great advantage in MMA where the clinch and ground game are concerned. But what makes Rousey so beloved by her rabid fans—aside from her stunning looks of course—is her propensity for breaking bones.
Of Rousey's five professional MMA wins are concerned, all five have come via armbar submission.
That type of astonishing stat is usually reserved for legends of the sport. To put it simply, Rousey wins her fights on her terms, which is about as impossible in the sport of MMA as it sounds.
So, in review: great smile, great body, beautiful physique, coupled with a gnarly disposition to inflict pain, and a pedigree to back it up. Sounds like a Comic-Con attendee's version of a perfect girl.
Earlier today, servers around the internet were losing capacity as Rousey's aforementioned photos for ESPN's 'The Body Issue' went viral. Rousey, who admits that she had body image issues growing up, has seemingly let those fall to the wayside.
Along with her clothes.
Check out the amazing video above. And yes, Ronda, we agree. With absolutely everything you say.
