When several Miranda Kerr nude photos were leaked online recently, Jezebel reported that the pics were of "unknown vintage" and mused that nude photos from early in a celebrity's career often surface later on, "It's not unheard of for nude work from early in a model's career to become the subject of editorial or even tabloid interest later, when that model has made it big."
The pics in question were posted on French photographer Laurent Darmon's website on August 2, 2012. They were taken down just one day later. Fortunately for Miranda Kerr's fans, copies of those nude pictures exist elsewhere on the Internet. Although they can't be published here due to copyright issues, you can view the censored, safe-for-work version here. It turns out that these Miranda Kerr nude photos were actually from a photo shoot in 2009, according to Triple M 104.9.

In 2009, when the Miranda Kerr nude photos were reportedly taken, the Victoria's Secret model was 26. She and Orlando Bloom were dating, but they were not yet married. It would be another year before she gave birth to their son, whom they named Flynn Christopher Blanchard Copeland Bloom.
There are more pictures of a naked Miranda Kerr online than you can imagine, so these newly leaked photos are neither rare nor scandalous. However, it appears that there was no trace of these particular pics online before the last few days, and it's surprising that they remained hidden for the past three years.
