Google Insights: Jordyn Wieber tops rising searches
The name of American artistic gymnast Jordyn Wieber was the Google search term with the highest increase in growth around the world over the past seven days.

Data from Google Insights shows that searches for Jordyn Wieber grew by 700% over the past week, with the majority of searches originating in the USA, Canada and the United Kingdom.
The 17-year-old artistic gymnast has been the center of controversy this Olympic Games after being eliminated from the women's individual all-around finals due to a technical rule prohibiting countries from having more than two competitors in the event.
Wieber, however, found some consolation in the fact that the US women's team won gold in the team finals.
Olympic-related searches, including "tickets" and American swimmers Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte, also accounted for a number of other spots in this week's top ten search terms.
Also popular this week was the search term "爱情公寓 3," a Chinese TV show that roughly translates into English as "Love Apartments."
The search terms with the most significant growth worldwide in the last seven days, as measured by Google Insights and recorded August 6, were:
